Thank You for Your Ideas
We asked for stimulus project ideas and New Yorkers responded with more than 18,000. Though the Federal Recovery and Reinvestment Act places limits on the types of projects for which stimulus funds can be used, many of the ideas we received do potentially qualify. Each person who submitted project ideas will be hearing directly from one or more State agencies within the next few weeks. All of the submissions we received are contained in an Excel spreadsheet. It's Not too Late
If you have not previously submitted an idea for a stimulus project, or if you are unable to locate it on the posted list, there is still time. You can review all of the Recovery Act programs by downloading a copy of New York's Recovery and Reinvestment Handbook. Or, you can select a Recovery Act program from our Funding Opportunities page to get in direct contact with the appropriate Federal or State agency.
