Program Description:

 Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability to modernize the electric grid, enhance security and reliability of the energy infrastructure, energy storage research and development, demonstration and deployment, facilitate recovery from power disruptions, demonstrate and deploy smart grid technology, and provide worker training.

Eligibility will be determined by the U.S. Department of Energy, and may include public and investor owned utilities, municipalities and private companies.

The Department will issue a Notice of Intent (providing initial information regarding the program) and/or a Funding Opportunity Announcement (inviting applications for the program) through its website. Interested parties should check the website of the U.S. Department of Energy on a regular basis to ensure they receive accurate and timely information concerning program opportunities.
