Transportation Electrification Program


Program Description:

Transportation Electrification Program

For projects that encourage the use of plug–in electric drive vehicles, truck–stop electrification, electric truck refrigeration, and electric rail.

Entities Eligible to Apply:

Various entities are eligible, but only as part of team with vehicle or component manufacturer

Flow of Funds:

Proposals for competitive funds are submitted by eligible entities to DOE. Proposals are due to DOE on May 13, 2009. DOE will review proposals and issue awards.

Unspecified 

Reporting Requirements:

Program reporting requirements will be specified in the Federal Assistance Reporting Checklist, DOE 4600.2 which will be attached to the award agreement.
