IDEA Part C (Early Intervention) provides services for infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays, as authorized under Part C of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)

The U.S. Department of Education distributes the funds to states pursuant to a formula. The Department of Health as lead agency for Part C receives the funding to support the administrative costs of the early intervention program.
