Infrastructure

From bridges, to broadband, to economic development, to energy and the environment New York's infrastructure is the life blood of our economy.

Health and Human Services

As the nation faces it's greatest economic challenge in m ore than a generation, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provides New York with critical resources to provide public assistance for our working families.

Although few ARRA programs are designed for individuals to apply directly for funding, additional online resources for working families are available through Governor Patterson's Resources for Working Families page.

Education

WARRA has appropriated billions of dollars to stabilize and update our education system.  This includes funds specifically for Higher Education, Secondary Education, Early Childhood Education.  

Public Safety

At a time when New York faces great challenges it is important that we strengthen and maintain public safety services.  The ARRA provides funds for a multitude of law enforcement activities including victims' assistance programs as well as fire department construction.
